Memory Trace (2004)

: a photo-drawing (series) :

———————————-

‘Memory trace’ is the preserved content of the lingering imagery of experience. The experienced memory (in time and space) is recalled from the contained imagery of the object (body). Memory traces tend to fade out in time and become signs and the contents fragment and defragment; are remixed. The salient features of the distant hum are emphasized, unbalance balances. When something seems familiar, that memory contains the referential similarity or the similarity of trace interfaces within the scene (context).
